TITLE 5, CHAPTER 5.55 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF
LAKEWOOD
“This Chapter shall hereinafter be known, and may be cited, as the City of Lakewood
Short-Term Rental Licensing Code. The intent and purpose of this Short-Term Rental
Licensing Code is to ensure that on and after September 1, 2023, residential properties
in the City used for Short-Term rental purposes meet minimum standards of safety and
habitability, are operated in a manner compatible and consistent with surrounding
residential uses and comply with applicable sales tax requirements.”
